Autour de Mrs. Hungerford

Résumé
A lively story of the three lovely Irish sisters. Their beloved father, The O'Connors, a widower, finds himself in difficulties owing to the agricultural depression, and is compelled to sell his favourite hunter, The hero of the novel, Sir Willoughby Heriot, a cold-blooded Englishman bought the cherished horse. Then he finds it very difficult indeed to get the loyal Molly to look at him, and the gradual conquest he makes gives a humorous love-drama with its elements of pathos. In parallel the love affairs of Geraldine and Kitty, and a treasure discovered buried in the garden, give an amusing contrast to the story.
