France and The Netherlands are separated by only a hundred kilometers, but their differences are numerous and sometimes extreme. When KLM and Air France merged in 2004, their employees experienced a real culture shock.
This book is aimed at both French and Dutch people who want to discover or better understand the culture of the other country: lifestyles, behaviors, management … It is based on the testimony of employees of both companies who have worked closely together for more than twelve years.
It is also addressed directly to the employees of these two companies, because getting to know each other better and accepting one’s differences is essential to reinforce trust.
